Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Boil Eggs

Place the eggs in a single layer in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring the water to a boil over medium-high heat.

  2. 2

    Cook Eggs

Once the water reaches a rolling boil, cover the saucepan with a lid and remove it from heat. Let the eggs sit for 12 minutes.

  3. 3

    Cool Eggs

After 12 minutes, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for 5 minutes.

  4. 4

    Peel Eggs

Once the eggs are cool, gently tap them on a hard surface and peel under running water to make peeling easier.

Filling

  1. 5

    Prepare Filling

Cut the peeled eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.

  2. 6

    Mix Ingredients

Add mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, white vinegar, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the bowl with the yolks. Mash together until smooth and creamy.

  3. 7

    Fill Egg Whites

Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the hollowed egg whites.

Garnishing

  1. 8

    Garnish

Sprinkle the filled eggs with paprika and top with chopped chives or parsley for garnish.
