Main Ingredients

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Preparation of Salmon and Asparagus

  1. 1

    Marinate the Salmon

In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Place the salmon fillets in the marinade, ensuring they are fully coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Asparagus

While the salmon is marinating, wash the asparagus under cold water. Trim the woody ends of the asparagus by snapping them off or cutting them with a knife.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 375°F or 190°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Salmon

Remove the salmon from the marinade and place it on the grill. Grill each side for about 4-5 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

  3. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

While the salmon is grilling, place the asparagus on the grill. Grill for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are tender and slightly charred.

Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare the Lemon Butter Sauce

In a small saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Once melted, remove from heat and stir in the lemon juice and chopped parsley. Set aside.

Serving

  1. 7

    Plate the Dish

Once the salmon and asparagus are cooked, remove them from the grill. Place a salmon fillet on each plate and arrange the grilled asparagus alongside. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon and asparagus before serving.
