Method
Preparing the Dough
- 1
Prepare Pizza Dough
If you are using store-bought pizza dough, let it come to room temperature. If making from scratch, prepare your pizza dough according to your recipe. Roll it out to your desired thickness and shape, then place it on a pizza stone or a baking sheet.
Making the Sauce
- 2
Prepare the Sauce
In a bowl, mix together the canned tomato sauce, garlic powder, dried oregano, salt, black pepper, and olive oil. Stir until well combined.
Assembling the Pizza
- 3
Add Sauce
Spread the prepared red sauce evenly over the rolled-out pizza dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
- 4
Add Cheese and Toppings
Sprinkle the mozzarella cheese evenly over the sauce. Top with cupping pepperoni and banana peppers.
Baking the Pizza
- 5
Bake the Pizza
Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C). Bake the pizza for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbling.
- 6
Finish with Parmesan and Honey
Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle grated Parmesan cheese over the top. Drizzle with Mike's Hot Honey before slicing.
