Crostini Preparation

Slice the Baguette
Using a serrated knife, slice the baguette into 1/2 inch thick pieces.

Prepare Garlic Oil
In a small bowl, mix the olive oil with minced garlic (crush the cloves) and let it sit for about 5 minutes.

Brush the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Place the baguette slices on a baking sheet and brush both sides with the garlic-infused olive oil.

Toast the Crostini
Toast the baguette slices in the oven for about 8-10 minutes or until golden brown, flipping halfway through.

Prepare the Tomatoes
Dice the Roma tomatoes and place them in a medium bowl.

Chop the Basil
Chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes.

Add Cheese
Dice the mozzarella cheese into small cubes and add to the tomato and basil mixture.

Season the Mixture
Drizzle the balsamic vinegar over the mixture and sprinkle with salt and black pepper. Toss gently to combine all ingredients.
