Method
Brownie Directions
- 1
Prepare the Brownies
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). In a mixing bowl, melt the butter, then stir in granulated sugar and brown sugar until well combined. Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in vanilla extract.
- 2
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, sift together flour, cocoa powder, and walnuts. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined.
- 3
Bake the Brownies
Pour the brownie batter into a greased 9x13 inch baking pan. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let cool before cutting into squares.
- 4
Prepare the Dark Chocolate Sauce
In a saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream and dark chocolate chips. Stir until the chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
- 5
Assemble the Sundae
In a serving dish, place a warm brownie square. Top with a scoop of Henry’s Homemade Vanilla Bean ice cream, drizzle with warm dark chocolate sauce, and sprinkle with additional walnuts if desired.
