Shrimp Preparation

Horseradish Mayo Dipping Sauce

Method

Shrimp Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare Shrimp

In a bowl, mix the prepared horseradish with salt and black pepper. Gently split the shrimp down the back without cutting all the way through, creating a pocket for the filling.

  2. 2

    Stuff Shrimp

Fill each shrimp pocket with about 1 tablespoon of the horseradish mixture, ensuring it is evenly distributed.

  3. 3

    Wrap with Bacon

Take one bacon strip and wrap it around each stuffed shrimp, securing it with a toothpick if necessary. Repeat for all shrimp.

Cooking

  1. 4

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).

  2. 5

    Bake Shrimp

Place the wrapped shrimp on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp are cooked through.

Horseradish Mayo Dipping Sauce

  1. 6

    Prepare Sauce

In a small bowl, mix together mayonnaise, prepared horseradish, lemon juice, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.

  2. 7

    Chill Sauce

Refrigerate the sauce for at least 10 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
