Prep the Bread

Slice the Rolls
Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Slice the seeded French rolls in half horizontally and place them on a baking sheet, cut side up.
Prepare the Sauce

Make the Pizza Sauce
In a medium saucepan over medium heat, add the olive oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Add the canned crushed tomatoes, dried oregano, dried basil, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and let it simmer for about 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Assemble the Pizza

Top the Bread
Spread a generous amount of the pizza sauce on each half of the French rolls, ensuring even coverage. Sprinkle the shredded Grande mozzarella cheese on top of the sauce, followed by the grated Pecorino Romano cheese.
Bake the Pizza

Bake in the Oven
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the edges of the bread are golden brown.
Garnish and Serve

Add Fresh Basil
Once out of the oven, remove the French bread pizzas and let them cool for a minute. Top with fresh basil leaves before slicing and serving.
