Method
Preparation
- 1
Prepare Brussels Sprouts
Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and remove any yellow or damaged leaves. Cut them in half lengthwise.
Frying
- 2
Heat Oil
In a deep frying pan or pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat until it reaches 350°F (175°C).
- 3
Fry Brussels Sprouts
Carefully add the halved Brussels sprouts to the hot oil in batches, making sure not to overcrowd the pan. Fry for about 5-7 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy.
- 4
Drain and Season
Use a slotted spoon to remove the fried Brussels sprouts from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Tossing
- 5
Combine with Buffalo Sauce
In a large bowl, toss the fried Brussels sprouts with the Buffalo sauce until they are well coated.
- 6
Add Gorgonzola Cheese
Sprinkle the crumbled Gorgonzola cheese over the coated Brussels sprouts and toss gently to combine.
Serving
- 7
Serve
Transfer the Buffalo sprouts to a serving platter and enjoy while hot.
