Salmon

Method

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

In a small bowl, mix olive oil, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Rub this mixture all over the salmon fillets.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat, about 375°F (190°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the seasoned salmon fillets on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Asparagus

  1. 4

    Season the Asparagus

In a bowl, toss the asparagus spears with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

  2. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Add the seasoned asparagus to the grill alongside the salmon. Grill for about 4-5 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 7

    Add Garlic and Lemon Juice

Once the butter is melted, add the minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Stir in the lemon juice.

  3. 8

    Finish the Sauce

Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.

Serve

  1. 9

    Plate the Dish

Place a grilled salmon fillet on each plate, add a portion of grilled asparagus, and drizzle with the lemon butter sauce before serving.
