Method

For the Grilled Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steaks

Take the ribeye steaks out of the refrigerator and let them come to room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures they cook evenly.

  2. 2

    Season the Steaks

Rub the steaks with olive oil, then season generously with garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to high heat (about 450°F/232°C) for about 10-15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Grill the Steaks

Place the steaks on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting cooking time for desired doneness.

  5. 5

    Rest the Steaks

Once cooked, remove the steaks from the grill and let them rest for at least 5 minutes before serving.

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 6

    Boil the Potatoes

Peel and cut the potatoes into quarters. Place them in a large pot and cover with water. Bring to a boil and cook until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 7

    Cook the Garlic

In the last 5 minutes of boiling, add the garlic cloves to the pot to soften them.

  3. 8

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot. Add butter, milk, salt, and black pepper. Mash until creamy and smooth.

  4. 9

    Adjust Seasoning

Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt or pepper if needed.

For the Seasonal Vegetables

  1. 10

    Prepare the Vegetables

Wash and slice the zucchini and bell peppers into strips.

  2. 11

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the zucchini and bell peppers, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for about 5-7 minutes, or until tender.
