Marinade

Method

Marinade Preparation

  1. 1

    Make the Marinade

In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, chopped rosemary, chopped thyme, salt, black pepper, and lemon juice. Whisk together until well combined.

Marinating the Pork

  1. 2

    Marinate the Pork Chops

Place the pork chops in a large resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish. Pour the marinade over the pork chops, ensuring they are evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, preferably up to 2 hours for better flavor.

Grilling

  1. 3

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  2. 4

    Grill the Pork Chops

Remove the pork chops from the marinade and let any excess drip off. Discard the marinade. Place the pork chops on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes on one side, or until they develop grill marks and are golden brown.

  3. 5

    Flip and Finish Cooking

Flip the pork chops and grill for an additional 5-7 minutes on the other side, or until the internal temperature reaches 145°F (63°C).

  4. 6

    Rest the Chops

Remove the pork chops from the grill and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving. This allows the juices to redistribute for a more tender bite.
