Main Ingredients

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Shrimp

If using frozen shrimp, thaw them under cold running water. Peel and devein the shrimp if they are not already prepared, and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Chop the Ingredients

Mince the garlic cloves finely and chop the parsley. Set aside for later use.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Heat the Olive Oil

In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Make sure it is hot but not smoking.

  2. 4

    Sauté the Garlic

Add the minced garlic to the skillet and sauté for about 1 minute or until fragrant. Be careful not to burn the garlic.

  3. 5

    Add the Shrimp

Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for about 2-3 minutes on one side until they turn pink.

  4. 6

    Flip the Shrimp

Flip the shrimp over and cook for another 2-3 minutes until fully cooked and opaque.

  5. 7

    Finish with Parsley and Lemon

Remove the skillet from heat, add the chopped parsley and lemon juice, and toss everything together to combine.
