Boil the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the penne pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables
In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute until fragrant. Then add the zucchini, bell pepper, carrots, and cherry tomatoes. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

Prepare Creamy Sauce
In a separate saucepan, combine heavy cream, grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Heat over low-medium heat, stirring until the cheese is melted and the sauce is creamy.

Mix Pasta and Vegetables
Add the cooked penne pasta to the skillet with the sautéed vegetables. If using the creamy sauce, pour it over the pasta and toss to combine. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat through.

Transfer the pasta to serving plates, garnish with fresh basil and additional grated Parmesan cheese if desired. Enjoy your Penne Pasta!
