Pesto Preparation

Make the Basil Pesto
In a food processor, combine fresh basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic cloves, and salt. Pulse until coarsely chopped.

Add Olive Oil
With the food processor running, slowly drizzle in the olive oil until the mixture is smooth.

Incorporate Parmesan
Add the grated Parmesan cheese and continue to pulse until the pesto is well combined. Season with black pepper to taste.
Salad Assembly

Prepare Cherry Tomatoes
Rinse the heirloom cherry tomatoes under cold water and slice them in half.

Season Tomatoes
In a bowl, combine the halved cherry tomatoes with salt and black pepper to taste. Drizzle with balsamic glaze and toss gently.

Plate the Dish
On a serving platter, place the burrata cheese in the center. Surround it with the seasoned cherry tomatoes.

Add Pesto
Spoon the fresh basil pesto over the burrata and tomatoes.
