Prepare the Bistec
Slice the beef steak into thin strips. Season with salt, pepper, and soy sauce. Set aside for 15 minutes to marinate.

Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add minced garlic, sliced onions, and bell peppers. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until softened.

Once the rice is cooked, fluff it with a fork and stir in the black beans. Allow to heat through for an additional 2-3 minutes.
Sweet Plantains

Prepare Plantains
Peel the ripe plantains and slice them diagonally into 1-inch pieces.

Fry the Plantains
Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the plantain slices until golden brown on both sides, about 2-3 minutes per side. Drain on paper towels.

Mix the Salad
In a large bowl, combine chopped lettuce, diced tomato, and sliced cucumber.

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, vinegar, salt, and pepper. Pour over the salad and toss to coat.
