Duck Wings
Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Duck Wings
In a large bowl, combine the duck wings and buttermilk. Ensure the wings are well coated and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours, or overnight for best results.
- 2
Prepare the Glaze
In a saucepan, combine hoisin sauce and black pepper. Heat over medium-low heat until warmed through, stirring occasionally. Set aside.
- 3
Cook the Duck Wings
Preheat your grill or oven to 400°F (200°C). Remove the duck wings from the buttermilk and shake off excess. Place the wings on the grill or a baking sheet if using the oven. Cook for about 25-30 minutes, turning occasionally, until the wings are crispy and cooked through.
- 4
Glaze the Wings
During the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush the warm hoisin glaze over the duck wings to coat them thoroughly.
- 5
Serve
Remove the wings from the grill or oven. Sprinkle chopped scallions and sesame seeds over the top before serving.
