Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Cook spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and chopped onion, sautéing until the onion is translucent. Stir in the spaghetti sauce, salt, black pepper, and dried basil. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked spaghetti and the prepared sauce. Mix well to ensure the pasta is evenly coated.

  4. 4

    Assemble the Bake

Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the spaghetti mixture to a greased baking dish. Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese evenly over the top.

  5. 5

    Bake

Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

  6. 6

    Serve

Remove from the oven and let it cool slightly. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
