Mushrooms

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently wipe the Portobello mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and finely chop them, setting them aside for the filling.

Making the Filling

  1. 3

    Mix the Filling Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, chopped parsley, minced garlic, chopped mushroom stems, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly combined.

Stuffing the Mushrooms

  1. 4

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a spoon, generously fill each Portobello mushroom cap with the cheese mixture, pressing it down gently to ensure it's packed in.

Baking

  1. 5

    Prepare for Baking

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Drizzle olive oil over the tops of the mushrooms for added flavor.

  2. 6

    Bake the Mushrooms

Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the mushrooms are tender and the cheese is bubbly and golden.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve

Remove the mushrooms from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your stuffed mushrooms warm!
