Main Ingredients

Method

Preparing the Honey Shrimp

  1. 1

    Marinate the Shrimp

In a bowl, combine the honey, minced garlic, and olive oil. Add the shrimp and toss to coat. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Cook the Shrimp

Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated shrimp to the skillet. Cook for about 2-3 minutes per side or until the shrimp are opaque and cooked through. Remove from heat.

Making Pico de Gallo

  1. 3

    Combine Ingredients

In a mixing bowl, combine the diced tomatoes, chopped red onion, chopped cilantro, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Mix well to combine.

  2. 4

    Let it Rest

Allow the pico de gallo to sit for at least 15 minutes to let the flavors meld together.

Serving

  1. 5

    Plate the Dish

Serve the cooked honey shrimp on a plate, topped with a generous spoonful of the pico de gallo.

  2. 6

    Garnish and Enjoy

Garnish with additional cilantro if desired and enjoy your Honey Shrimp with a side of rice or tortilla chips.
