Meatballs

Method

Cooking

  1. 1

    Prepare the Meatballs

In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, parsley, minced garlic, egg, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are fully incorporated.

  2. 2

    Shape the Meatballs

Using your hands, shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.

  3. 3

    Cook the Meatballs

Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Bake the meatballs for 20-25 minutes, or until browned and cooked through.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Marinara Sauce

While the meatballs are baking, heat a large saucepan over medium heat. Add olive oil and sauté chopped onion and minced garlic until fragrant. Stir in crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, and pepper. Let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Once the meatballs are cooked, add them to the marinara sauce and let them simmer together for an additional 5 minutes. Serve the meatballs and sauce over spaghetti or your choice of pasta.
