Directions

1

Cook the Pasta

In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add the radiatori pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside, reserving 1 cup of pasta water.

2

Cook the Sausage

In a large skillet over medium heat, add the Italian sausage. Cook until browned and cooked through, breaking it apart with a wooden spoon as it cooks, about 5-7 minutes.

3

Add Swiss Chard and Garlic

Add the minced garlic and chopped Swiss chard to the skillet with the sausage. Sauté until the chard is wilted and tender, about 4-5 minutes.

4

Combine Ingredients

Add the cooked radiatori pasta to the skillet. Stir in the reserved pasta water, lemon zest, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well to combine all ingredients and heat through.

5

Prepare Breadcrumbs

In a separate bowl, combine the breadcrumbs with olive oil. Mix until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated.

6

Finish the Dish

Spread the breadcrumb mixture over the pasta in the skillet. Top with grated Parmesan cheese. Broil on high for about 3-5 minutes, or until the breadcrumbs are golden and crispy.

7

Serve

Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving. Enjoy your radiatori with sausage, Swiss chard, and lemon breadcrumbs!
