Mojito Directions

1

Muddle the Mint and Sugar

In a sturdy glass, place the fresh mint leaves and granulated sugar. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently press and twist the mint leaves to release their essential oils without tearing them, about 10-15 seconds.

2

Add Lime Juice

Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice from both halves into the glass. If desired, you can add the spent lime halves to the glass for extra flavor. Muddle the mixture again briefly to combine the mint, sugar, and lime juice.

3

Add Rum

Pour in the white rum and stir gently to combine all the ingredients, ensuring the sugar begins to dissolve.

4

Add Ice

Fill the glass with ice cubes, packing them in as needed to keep the drink chilled.

5

Top with Club Soda

Slowly pour the club soda over the ice until the glass is nearly full. Stir gently to mix the ingredients without losing the carbonation.

6

Garnish and Serve

Garnish your mojito with a sprig of fresh mint and a lime wedge on the rim of the glass. Serve immediately with a straw or a stirrer.
