Spinach Dip

Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Thaw and Drain Spinach

Thaw the frozen chopped spinach in the refrigerator overnight or use the microwave. Once thawed, drain excess water by pressing the spinach in a clean kitchen towel or colander. Set aside.

  2. 2

    Mix Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Mix with a hand mixer or spoon until smooth and well combined.

  3. 3

    Add Spinach and Seasoning

Fold the drained spinach into the cream cheese mixture. Add the shredded mozzarella cheese, grated Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until all ingredients are evenly distributed.

  4. 4

    Bake the Dip

Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Transfer the spinach dip mixture into a baking dish and spread it evenly. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the dip is bubbly and slightly golden on top.

  5. 5

    Top with Pico de Gallo

Once the dip is done baking, remove it from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Top the dip with fresh pico de gallo before serving.

  6. 6

    Serve

Serve the spinach dip warm with seasoned tortilla chips on the side for dipping.
