Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Cut the day-old bread into cubes and place them in a large mixing bowl.

Combine Apples and Nuts
Add the diced apples and chopped walnuts to the bowl with the bread cubes. Gently toss to combine.

Mix the Wet Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, granulated sugar, brown sugar, vanilla extract, ground cinnamon, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the egg mixture over the bread, apples, and walnuts. Stir gently until all the bread is soaked and the ingredients are evenly distributed.

Bake the Pudding
Transfer the mixture into a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 45-50 minutes or until the top is golden and the pudding is set.

Remove from the oven and let it cool for about 10 minutes. Dust the top with powdered sugar and drizzle with caramel sauce before serving.
