Turkey Breast
Method
Preparation
- 1
Marinate the Turkey
In a large bowl, whisk together the Cajun seasoning, olive oil, minced garlic, lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Place the turkey breast in a resealable plastic bag or a shallow dish and pour the marinade over it. Seal the bag or cover the dish and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- 3
Roast the Turkey
Remove the turkey from the marinade and place it in a roasting pan. Discard the marinade. Roast the turkey breast in the preheated oven for about 1.5 hours or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- 4
Rest the Turkey
Once cooked, remove the turkey from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
