Prepare the Bread
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Slice the baguette or ciabatta into 1/2 inch thick slices. Arrange the slices on a baking sheet.

Toast the Bread
Place the baking sheet in the preheated oven and toast the bread for about 5-7 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly.
Prepare the Topping

Chop the Tomatoes
Dice the ripe tomatoes into small pieces and place them in a mixing bowl.

Chop the Basil
Roughly chop the fresh basil leaves and add them to the tomatoes in the mixing bowl.

Add Garlic
Mince the garlic cloves and add them to the bowl with the tomatoes and basil.

Season the Mixture
Sprinkle salt and black pepper into the mixture. Toss everything together gently until combined.
Assemble the Bruschetta

Top the Bread
Spoon the tomato and basil mixture generously onto each toasted slice of bread.

Serve the bruschetta immediately while the bread is still warm and enjoy!
