Prepare the Romaine Lettuce
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water. Remove any wilted outer leaves, then chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces. Place the chopped lettuce in a large salad bowl.

Grate the Parmesan Cheese
Using a grater, finely grate the parmesan cheese. Set aside for topping the salad.
Making Croutons

Preheat Oven
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

Prepare the Bread
Cut the bread into small cubes, about 1-inch in size. Place the cubes in a bowl.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes on a baking sheet in a single layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Stir halfway through to ensure even browning.
Making the Dressing

Combine Dressing Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, and anchovy paste. Mix well until smooth.

Assembling the Salad

Add the croutons and half of the grated parmesan cheese to the bowl with the romaine lettuce.
