Preparation Steps

  1. 1

    Preheat the Broiler

Preheat your broiler on high for about 10 minutes.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Marinade

In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped dill, salt, and black pepper.

  3. 3

    Marinate the Salmon

Place the sockeye salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.

  4. 4

    Broil the Salmon

Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place the marinated salmon fillets skin-side down on the sheet. Broil for 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.

  5. 5

    Serve

Remove the salmon from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy your broiled wild sockeye salmon!
