Method
Tiramisu Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Chocolate Mixture
Melt the Master Chocolat by Bernard Callebaut chocolate in a heatproof bowl over simmering water. Once melted, set aside to cool slightly.
- 2
Make the Mascarpone Filling
In a mixing bowl, whisk the egg yolks and granulated sugar together until pale and creamy. Add the mascarpone cheese and melted chocolate, mixing until smooth and well combined.
- 3
Prepare the Coffee Mixture
In a shallow dish, combine the brewed coffee and coffee liqueur.
- 4
Assemble the Tiramisu
Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture, ensuring they are soaked but not soggy. Layer half of the soaked ladyfingers in the bottom of a serving dish. Spread half of the mascarpone filling over the ladyfingers. Repeat the process with the remaining ladyfingers and mascarpone filling.
- 5
Chill and Serve
Cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, or overnight. Before serving, dust the top with cocoa powder.
