Preparation of Herbed Butter

Make the Herbed Butter
In a small bowl, combine the softened unsalted butter, chopped parsley, chopped dill, and lemon juice. Mix until well combined and set aside.
Cooking Salmon

Broil the Salmon
Preheat the broiler. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil. Place the salmon fillet on the baking sheet and drizzle with olive oil. Season with salt and black pepper. Broil for about 6-8 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Sauté the Vegetables
While the salmon is broiling, heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the broccoli florets and sliced carrots. Season with salt and black pepper. Sauté for 5-7 minutes, or until the vegetables are tender-crisp.

Plate and Serve
Once the salmon is done, remove it from the broiler and let it rest for a minute. Serve the salmon fillet topped with herbed butter alongside the sautéed vegetables.
