Rinse the jumbo black tiger shrimp under cold water and pat dry with paper towels. Season with salt and black pepper.

Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

Cook the Shrimp
Add the seasoned shrimp to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and opaque.

Add Anise Liqueur
Pour the anise liqueur over the shrimp and allow it to simmer for an additional minute to absorb the flavor.

Remove from heat, sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
