Prepare the Avocados
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a mixing bowl.

Mash the Avocados
Using a fork or a potato masher, mash the avocados to your desired level of creaminess (smooth or chunky).

Add Fresh Ingredients
Add the finely chopped red onion, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro, lime juice, and chopped jalapeño to the mashed avocados.

Season the Guacamole
Sprinkle in the salt and black pepper, mixing well to combine all the ingredients.

Optional Seasoning
If desired, add ground cumin and garlic powder for an extra layer of flavor, mixing thoroughly.
Serving

Serve Immediately
Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and enjoy it with tortilla chips, tacos, or as a topping for your favorite dishes.

If not serving immediately, cover the guacamole with plastic wrap, pressing it directly onto the surface to reduce oxidation, and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
