Fall - Spring, every Friday we serve delicious German dishes such as Kneophla and Borscht soup, cheese buttons with a special house made cream sauce, and others.

Kneophla Preparation

    Make the Dough

    In a large bowl, combine flour, eggs, water, and salt. Knead until smooth and let rest for 30 minutes.

    Prepare the Filling

    In a skillet, melt butter, add onions and potatoes, and cook until tender.

    Shape and Cook

    Roll out the dough, cut into squares, fill with potato mixture, and fold. Boil for 5-7 minutes until they float.

Borscht Soup Preparation

    Cook the Vegetables

    In a large pot, combine all vegetables and broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 30 minutes.

    Season the Soup

    Add vinegar, salt, and pepper, and adjust seasoning to taste.

    Serve

    Ladle soup into bowls and top with a dollop of sour cream.

Cheese Buttons Preparation

    Make the Dough

    In a bowl, mix flour, ricotta, egg, and salt until combined.

    Shape the Buttons

    Scoop spoonfuls of dough and shape into small buttons.

    Cook

    Boil the buttons for 3-5 minutes until they rise to the top.

Cream Sauce Preparation

    Prepare the Sauce

    In a saucepan, melt butter, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add cream, salt, and pepper, and simmer for 5 minutes.

    Add Cheese

    Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and smooth.
