Caramelized Onions

Caramelize the Onions
In a large skillet, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté until the onions are soft and golden brown, about 15-20 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning. Once caramelized, remove from heat and set aside.

Sauté the Spinach
In the same skillet, add 1 tablespoon of olive oil and minced garlic. Sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the fresh spinach and cook until wilted, about 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and set aside.
Smoked Bacon

Cook the Bacon
In a separate skillet, cook the chopped smoked bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 7-10 minutes. Once cooked, remove the bacon and drain on paper towels.
Assembly

Combine Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, combine the caramelized onions, sautéed mushrooms, sautéed spinach, and crispy bacon. Mix well to combine all ingredients.

Add Cheese
Stir in the shredded cheddar jack cheese until evenly distributed.
