Omelet

Crispy Potatoes

Method

Omelet Preparation

  1. 1

    Whisk the Eggs

In a bowl, crack the eggs and whisk them together until the yolks and whites are fully combined. Add salt and black pepper to taste.

  2. 2

    Cook the Omelet

In a non-stick skillet, heat the butter over medium heat. Once melted, pour in the whisked eggs. Cook for 2-3 minutes until the edges start to set.

  3. 3

    Add Cheese and Ham

Sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over one half of the omelet. If using, add the diced ham. Fold the omelet in half and cook for another 1-2 minutes until the cheese melts.

  4. 4

    Serve

Slide the omelet onto a plate and keep warm while preparing the crispy potatoes.

Crispy Potatoes Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes, then cut them into small cubes for even cooking.

  2. 6

    Season the Potatoes

In a bowl, toss the potato cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper until well coated.

  3. 7

    Cook the Potatoes

Heat a separate skillet over medium-high heat. Add the seasoned potatoes and cook for about 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and crispy.

Fruit or Toast/Pancakes Preparation

  1. 8

    Prepare the Fresh Fruit

If using fresh fruit, wash and cut it into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.

  2. 9

    Toast the Bread

Toast the slices of bread until golden brown.

  3. 10

    Make the Pancakes (if using)

In a bowl, mix the pancake mix with water according to package instructions. Heat a skillet over medium heat and pour in the batter to form pancakes. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden.
