Grilled Cheese Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Ingredients
Gather all the ingredients including bread, cheddar cheese, and butter.
- 2
Butter the Bread
Spread butter evenly on one side of each slice of bread.
- 3
Assemble the Sandwich
Place one slice of bread butter-side down on a skillet or frying pan. Top it with cheddar cheese, then place the second slice of bread on top, butter-side up.
- 4
Cook the Sandwich
Heat the skillet over medium heat. Cook the sandwich for about 3-4 minutes until the bottom is golden brown. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes on the other side until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted.
- 5
Serve
Once the cheese is melted and both sides of the bread are golden brown, remove the sandwich from the skillet. Cut it in half and serve immediately with a side of French fries or fresh fruit.
