Prepare the Salad Base
Begin by washing the Romaine lettuce thoroughly under cold water and patting it dry with paper towels. Chop the lettuce into bite-sized pieces and place it in a large salad bowl.

Prepare the Cherry Tomatoes
Wash the cherry tomatoes and slice them in half. Set aside.

Chop the Scallions
Dice the scallions, using both the white and green parts, and set aside.

Slice the Hard Boiled Eggs
Peel the hard boiled eggs and slice them into quarters or rounds, depending on your preference.

Prepare the Grilled Chicken
If the grilled chicken breast is not cooked, grill it until fully cooked, then slice it into strips.

Assemble the Salad
In the large salad bowl, add the chopped Romaine lettuce, avocado slices, halved cherry tomatoes, diced scallions, sliced hard boiled eggs, grilled chicken strips, and chopped bacon. Sprinkle the crumbled blue cheese on top.

Make the Buttermilk Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine the buttermilk, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh lemon juice. Whisk together until smooth and well combined.
