Preparing the Burger Patty

Mix Beef and Seasoning
In a bowl, combine the Black Angus ground beef with salt and black pepper. Mix gently until just combined. Do not overwork the meat.

Form Patty
Form the mixture into a patty approximately 1/2 inch thick.

Cook Patty
Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 160°F (71°C). During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on top of the patty to melt.
Assembling the Burger

Toast Burger Bun
While the patty is cooking, prepare your burger bun by toasting it lightly if desired.

Add Patty to Bun
Once the patty is cooked, place it on the bottom half of the burger bun.

Add Toppings
Layer with lettuce, tomato slices, and pickles on top of the cheese-covered patty.

Prepare French Fries
For French fries, you can either fry or bake them according to package instructions until crispy and golden.

For fresh fruit, wash and cut the fruit into bite-sized pieces if necessary.
