Using an espresso machine, brew 2 shots of espresso. Ensure the espresso is well-extracted for a rich flavor.

In a kettle or on the stove, heat 6 oz of water to just below boiling (around 200°F or 93°C).

Combine Espresso and Water
In a large cup, pour the brewed espresso shots and slowly add the hot water. This will dilute the espresso to create the Americano.
