Preparation
Prepare the Broccoli
Wash and cut the broccoli florets into bite-sized pieces. Set aside.
Cooking
Sauté the Garlic
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes, until fragrant but not browned.
Cook the Broccoli
Add the broccoli florets to the skillet. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the broccoli is tender but still vibrant green.
Season
Sprinkle in the crushed red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Stir well to combine and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes.
Add Parmesan Cheese
Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until well distributed. Allow the residual heat to melt the cheese slightly.

Serve
Transfer the Italian Broccoli Romano to a serving dish and enjoy warm as a side dish.
