Pork Chop

Smoky Bacon Green Beans

Creole Trinity Sauce

Method

Pork Chop

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pork Chops

Season the pork chops with Cajun seasoning on both sides.

  2. 2

    Breading Process

Set up a breading station with three bowls for flour, beaten eggs, and breadcrumbs. Dredge each pork chop in flour, dip into the egg, and coat with breadcrumbs.

  3. 3

    Fry the Pork Chops

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium heat. Once hot, carefully add the breaded pork chops and fry for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

Roasted Red Potatoes

  1. 4

    Prepare the Potatoes

Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash and cut red potatoes into quarters.

  2. 5

    Season and Roast

Toss the potatoes in a bowl with olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Spread them on a baking sheet and roast for about 25-30 minutes, or until golden and tender, stirring halfway through.

Smoky Bacon Green Beans

  1. 6

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy. Remove bacon and chop into pieces, leaving the drippings in the skillet.

  2. 7

    Sauté the Vegetables

Add diced onion and minced garlic to the skillet with bacon drippings and sauté until soft, about 3-4 minutes.

  3. 8

    Cook the Green Beans

Add the fresh green beans to the skillet, season with salt and pepper, and sauté for an additional 7-10 minutes until tender. Stir in the chopped bacon before serving.

Creole Trinity Sauce

  1. 9

    Prepare the Sauce

In a saucepan, add diced bell pepper, celery, onion, and minced garlic. Sauté over medium heat until the vegetables are soft, about 5 minutes.

  2. 10

    Add Liquid Ingredients

Pour in the chicken broth and add Tabasco sauce, salt, and pepper. Simmer for about 10 minutes to blend flavors.
