Prepare the Salad Base

Combine the Salad Base
In a large salad bowl, combine the mixed greens, chopped tomato, cucumber, and red onion. Toss gently to mix.
Make the Buttermilk Vinaigrette

Whisk the Ingredients
In a small bowl, whisk together the buttermilk, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, honey, salt, and black pepper until well combined.

Dress the Salad
Drizzle the vinaigrette over the salad and toss gently to coat all the ingredients evenly.
Prepare the Corn Bread Croutons

Cut the Cornbread
Cut the cornbread into small cubes (about 1 inch in size).

Season and Bake the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). In a bowl, toss the cornbread cubes with olive oil, garlic powder, and salt. Spread the cubes on a baking sheet and bake for 10-15 minutes or until golden and crispy.
Assemble the Salad

Top the Salad
Once the croutons are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool slightly. Add the croutons to the salad and toss gently.

Serve the Bubba Salad immediately, garnished with additional black pepper if desired.
