Burger Preparation

    Cook the Bowtie Pasta

    Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add 1 cup of bowtie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

    Form the Patties

    In a mixing bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef with salt and pepper to taste. Form into 4 equal-sized patties.

    Cook the Patties

    Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness.

Assembly

    Prepare the Toppings

    While the patties are cooking, prepare the toppings. Cook 8 slices of pecan-smoked bacon until crispy. Slice the red onion and tomato.

    Assemble the Burgers

    On the bottom half of each brioche bun, spread 1/4 cup of pimento cheese. Place a cooked beef patty on top, then layer with bacon, bread-and-butter pickles, red onion, lettuce, and tomato. Top with the other half of the bun.
