Meatloaf Preparation

    Preheat Oven

    Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).

    Cook Bacon

    In a skillet, cook the bacon slices until crispy. Remove from the skillet and chop into small pieces.

    Sauté Onion

    In the same skillet, sauté the chopped onion until translucent.

    Combine Ingredients

    In a large bowl, combine ground beef, ground pork, chopped bacon, sautéed onion, BBQ sauce, eggs, breadcrumbs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.

    Shape Meatloaf

    Transfer the meat mixture into a loaf pan and shape it into a loaf.

    Bake

    Bake in the preheated oven for 1 hour, or until cooked through.

Smoky Bacon Green Beans Preparation

    Cook Bacon

    Cook 4 slices of bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and crumble.

    Sauté Green Beans

    In the same skillet, add olive oil and minced garlic, then add the green beans. Sauté for 5-7 minutes.

    Add crumbled bacon, salt, and black pepper to the green beans. Toss to combine and serve.

Roasted Garlic-Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes Preparation

    Roast Garlic

    Wrap whole garlic cloves in foil and roast in the oven for 30 minutes.

    Boil Potatoes

    Peel and chop the potatoes, then boil them in salted water until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

    Drain the potatoes and mash them with roasted garlic, buttermilk, butter, salt, and black pepper until smooth.

Crispy Onion Strings Preparation

    Slice the onion into thin rings and soak in buttermilk for 30 minutes.

    In a bowl, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, and black pepper. Dredge soaked onion rings in the flour mixture.

    Heat oil in a deep pan. Fry the coated onion rings in batches until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
