Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ingredients

Wash and chop the bell peppers, onion, and mushrooms into bite-sized pieces. Mince the garlic and set everything aside.

  2. 2

    Cook the Meats

In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil over medium heat. Add the ground beef and sausage, breaking it apart with a spatula, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove the meats from the skillet and set aside.

  3. 3

    Cook the Bacon

In the same skillet, add the bacon slices and cook until crispy. Remove the bacon, crumble it, and set aside, leaving the bacon grease in the skillet.

  4. 4

    Cook the Chicken

Add the chicken breast to the skillet with the bacon grease. Season with salt and pepper, and cook until fully cooked through, about 7-10 minutes. Remove the chicken, chop it into small pieces, and set aside.

Cooking

  1. 5

    Sauté the Vegetables

In the same skillet, add another tablespoon of olive oil. Add the chopped onions and cook until translucent, about 3-4 minutes. Then, add the bell peppers, mushrooms, and minced garlic, and sauté for an additional 5-7 minutes until the vegetables are tender.

  2. 6

    Combine Everything

Return the cooked meats (ground beef, sausage, bacon, and chicken) to the skillet. Add the spinach and Italian seasoning, stirring everything together until the spinach wilts, about 2-3 minutes.

  3. 7

    Final Seasoning

Taste and adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if desired. Mix thoroughly to ensure all ingredients are well combined.

Serving

  1. 8

    Serve the Dish

Remove from heat and serve hot. This dish can be served on its own or over rice, pasta, or in a wrap.
