Preparing the Hashbrowns

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the frozen hashbrowns in an even layer. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until they start to become golden brown.

Gradually whisk in the milk and beef broth, ensuring there are no lumps. Continue to stir until the gravy thickens, approximately 5-7 minutes.

Season the Gravy
Add salt and black pepper to the gravy, adjusting to taste. Remove from heat once thickened.

Combine and Serve
Once the hashbrowns are crispy, remove them from heat and sprinkle the shredded cheese on top. Pour the hot gravy over the cheese and hashbrowns. Serve immediately while hot.
