Mix Dry Ingredients
In a medium bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; lumps are okay.

Heat the Pan
In a non-stick skillet over medium heat, add the unsalted butter or oil and let it melt, coating the bottom of the pan.

Cook Pancakes
Using a 1/4 cup measure, pour the batter onto the skillet. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until bubbles form on the surface and the edges appear set. Flip the pancakes and cook for an additional 1-2 minutes until golden brown.

Serve
Remove the pancakes from the skillet and serve warm with your choice of toppings such as syrup, fruit, or whipped cream.
