Hot Chocolate Preparation

    Heat Milk

    In a small saucepan, heat 2 cups of milk over medium heat until hot but not boiling, stirring occasionally.

    Mix Dry Ingredients

    In a separate bowl, combine 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and a pinch of salt.

    Combine Ingredients

    Once the milk is hot, add the dry ingredient mixture to the saucepan. Whisk until fully combined and smooth.

    Add Vanilla

    Remove the saucepan from heat and stir in 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.

Whipped Cream Preparation

    Prepare the Cream

    In a mixing bowl, pour 1 cup of heavy cream, add 2 tablespoons of powdered sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
