Method
Hash Browns
- 1
Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the Russet potatoes and grate them using a box grater or food processor.
- 2
Cook the Hash Browns
Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the grated potatoes and season with salt and pepper. Cook for about 5-7 minutes on each side until golden brown and crispy. Remove from heat and keep warm.
Sausage Patties
- 3
Prepare the Sausage
In a mixing bowl, combine ground sausage, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- 4
Cook the Sausage Patties
Form the sausage mixture into two patties. In a skillet over medium heat, cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are cooked through and browned. Remove from heat.
Eggs
- 5
Cook the Eggs
In a non-stick skillet, cook the eggs to your liking (fried, poached, or scrambled). If frying, cook for about 3-4 minutes for sunny-side up or over-easy.
English Muffin
- 6
Toast the English Muffin
Split the English muffin in half and toast it in a toaster or under a broiler until golden brown.
Sausage Gravy
- 7
Make the Gravy
In the same skillet used for sausage patties, crumble the additional sausage and cook over medium heat until browned. Sprinkle with flour and stir for 1 minute. Slowly add milk while stirring to avoid lumps. Cook until the gravy thickens (about 5-7 minutes). Season with salt and pepper.
