Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

Cook the pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Prepare the Veal

Season the veal scallops with salt and black pepper. Dredge them in flour, shaking off the excess.

  3. 3

    Sauté the Veal

In a large skillet, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-high heat. Add the veal scallops and sauté for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  4. 4

    Make the Sauce

In the same skillet, add minced garlic and capers. Sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the chicken broth and lemon juice, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom. Let it simmer for about 3-4 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine and Serve

Return the veal to the skillet and toss to coat in the sauce. Add chopped parsley and adjust seasoning with salt and pepper. Serve the veal piccata over the cooked pasta, drizzling with additional sauce.
